On 10 - 11 April Epta and its brands Eurocryor, Misa and Costan will be at IMeat 2016, the two-day event dedicated to butchery that will be held at ModenaFiere Pavilion A Stand. 34. EPTA HAS SIGNED A SHELF FACILITY FOR THE ISSUANCE OF NOTES THROUGH A US PRIVATE PLACEMENT PROGRAMME.

Notes with a value of EUR 20 million have been placed, with a 7-year bullet, at a fixed interest rate of 2.30%. The shelf facility that has been signed with Pricoa Capital Group provides the possibility of placing new issues up to an overall value of US$ 120 million (or EUR equivalent).

 

Milan, 10 March 2016 – Today Epta S.p.A. has completed the issue and placement of notes through Pricoa Capital Group – a trading name of Prudential Financial, Inc. of the United States (NYSE:PRU) and one of the main players in the private placement market – with a value of EUR 20 million within a shelf facility that provides the possibility to place new issues up to an overall value of US$ 120 million (or EUR equivalent).

The EUR 20 million notes have been issued in a single tranche with a 7-year bullet maturity and a 2.30% fixed interest rate. The shelf facility gives Epta S.p.A. and other companies of the Group the opportunity to ask Pricoa Capital Group to underwrite new issues over the next three years up to an overall value of US$ 120 million (or EUR equivalent).

Through this private placement, Epta S.p.A. will diversify its sources of financing and increase its flexibility. In this regard, the transaction will enable the Group to have more resources available in order to look at new strategic development opportunities with increasing confidence.

The shelf facility Epta S.p.A. has signed with Pricoa Capital Group confirms the solidity of this Company that has distinguished itself over the years for its reliability and ability to expand at a global level. The multinational group specialising in commercial refrigeration aims to continue growing through its international presence and the strength of its brands. It has set itself the target of reaching a turnover of 1 Billion Euros by 2020.

EPTA @HOST 2015: HOSPITALITY CAPITAL

A large stream of visitors attended Host 2015, the five-day event that confirmed Milan as the capital of hospitality. With 150,000 visitors and 2,000 exhibitors from 47 countries, the event established itself as one of the world’s most important exhibitions devoted to all players in the HoReCa sector. Within Host’s new area specifically for refrigeration, expanded to over 4,000 m2, the three brands of Epta previewed their innovative solutions in three exclusive dedicated Foodcities: Eurocryor, the city of ideal presentation, Misa, the city of perfect preservation, and Iarp, the city of successful merchandising.

Among the numerous international visitors who flocked to the Epta stand, a system that attracted great interest was Epta Food Defence, the new silver ion antibacterial system, available for all Misa coldrooms. Designed to improve the food safety of products stored in coldrooms, Epta Food Defence is able to prevent, combat and eliminate numerous species of bacteria, including the most prevalent and dangerous ones.

In addition, the RawFood Corner bearing the Eurocryor, Misa and Iarp signatures perfectly matched the new trends that emerged at Host, which see an ever-growing demand for highly customizable, multifunctional solutions. BONNET NEVE INTRODUCES SKYVIEW / GRANVISTA AT COP21

Bonnet Névé participated in the twenty-first Conference of Parties on climate change organized by the UN from 30 November to 12 December at the Parc des Expositions in Le Bourget (Paris). The company presented SkyView / Granvista, the chilled vertical cabinet combining design and respect for the environment.

The aim of the summit is to achieve, for the first time in over 20 years of mediation on the part of the United Nations, a binding and universal agreement on climate that is accepted by all countries. The great expectations these 13 days of debate resulted in a programme to reduce CO2 emissions by limiting the increase in global temperature to a maximum of 2° Centigrade by 2020. COP21 is one of the largest international conferences, with approximately 50,000 participants, including 25,000 delegates from 195 countries, in addition to international organizations and NGOs, UN Agencies and representatives of civil society and industry.

Specifically, Christian Le Gousse, General Manager of Epta France was invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and by the Institut Français du Design (IFD) to take part in the debate organized within the Gallery of Solutions on 4 December, with a speech on “Products and services for a better life”. The round table was an opportunity to illustrate the strong points of SkyView / Granvista, the chilled vertical cabinet that won the prestigious Janus de l’Industrie in 2014 with a special mention for its eco-design, as an example of a concrete solution for reducing environmental impact within the sphere of commercial refrigeration.

The project is an important one and marks Conad’s contribution to the revitalization of an area located in the city’s heart, renewing the concept of the neighbourhood store. Epta’s Managing Director, Marco Nocivelli, is the winner in the “Internationalization” category of the 2015 edition of “Di Padre in Figlio – il gusto di fare impresa” (From Father to Son – The Pleasure of Entrepreneurship), a prestigious award devoted to an entrepreneur who has been able to meet the challenge of generational transition by further enhancing the work of his father, Luigi Nocivelli.

The award – promoted by N+1 in collaboration with Borsa Italiana, Banca Albertini SYZ, Deloitte, the international private equity fund H.I.G. Capital and Studio Legale LCA – was announced on Saturday, 28 November at Palazzo Mezzanotte (headquarters of Borsa Italiana) during a ceremony featuring entrepreneurs and many outstanding Italian businesses.

Epta Managing Director Marco Nocivelli declared: “For both the family and the company the Father to Son Award represents an important recognition of our characteristic commitment and determination.
